Ginger's Flower Garden
Welcome To Paradise
I garden on 1 acre of sandy soil on a hill at the end of a cul de sac in Northeast Louisiana zone 8A.I started this garden in the fall of 2000 by moving about 2/3rds of the plants aquired over 17 years from my previous garden. I hope you enjoy this virtual tour of my cottage garden. After touring my garden be sure to stop by and view my tour of The New Orleans Botanical Gardens. You will find friends gardens here also.I'd love to hear from you, let me know if you like my site and if you have any questions. I'd love to hear about your garden also. I made this site after spending the last eight years enjoying other's online gardening pages. I hope mine brings as many ideas and information as I've been privaleged to enjoy myself.Pictures on this site can be clicked to zoom to a larger, sharper image.
A favorite prayer
I am , O my God, but a tiny seed which Thou has sown in the soil of Thy love, and caused to spring forth by the hand of Thy bounty. This seed craveth, therefore, in it's inmost being, for the waters of thy mercy and the living fountain of thy grace. send down upon it, from the heaven of thy loving-kindness, that which will enable it to flourish beneath thy shadow and within the borders of thy court. Thou art He Who watereth the hearts of all that have recognized thee from Thy plenteous stream and the fountain of Thy living waters.
Praised be God, the Lord of the worlds
