;void(0)) Welcome to The New Orleans Botanical gardens. These pictures where taken with a Olympus Camedia digital C-60 Zoom camera on trips to visit my daughter going to school at UNO and living near the gardens. It is my favorite place to while away hours with a good book and my camera.......Sept6'05=Aftermath of katrina= My heart is breaking for my belle New Orleans-A garden city.For those of you wondering both of my daughters did evacuate in time, one to Houston & One made it to My Mom's in Monroe. One's home is totally flooded for sure the other doesn't know yet. But we are so grateful they are out, alive and well it just isn't that important. So now with them safe I am wondering about the gardens. I am so glad I made this site and plan to help rebuild The botanical gardens when New Orleans is healthy enough to do so. In the meantime I will revisit my memories here and hope that when they are ready you will be moved to help the gardens as well.  ;void(0)) Inside Entrance
