 I planted this rose last year sometime. Poor thing does compete with tree roots, in fact all of the roses in my patriotic bed do so when I say they have done well they really have. It took me a while after taking this picture to figure out what it was. Going back through online catalogs I order from I found an almost exact replica of this picture in The Uncommon Rose. So I assume I got it there.
