· Abelia grandiflora ‘Confetti’: (2) 2x3’ creamy white margins turn ruby pink in winter, white flowers may till frost- One source says needs light shade. Planted In front of TOH ‘Mary Rose’ 3/29/05. From Forest Farm
· Abelia ‘Edward Goucher’: Planted ’01 on hillside behind fairy foutain to the left. Very pretty pink- but low so far- don’t see till you come around the corner. Bought locally
· Abelia “Golden”: Bought locally- has golden leaves ,esp. in spring, not sure of cultivar name. Great plant – it’s on back edge of right driveway beds. May move inward if I’m able to get a trellis like I want there.
· Abelia schumannii ‘Bumblebee’ 3x3 prolific summer & fall bloomer with large foxglove like lavender pink flowers, Planted 4/22/05 in Pink Butterfly garden back side, From Joy Creek
· Abutilon megaputamicum Small to 18” flowering maple with red & yellow bells planted behind the Phoenix bird in Sp.’04
· Aesculus Pavia: (Red Buckeye) One small one on wet side at end of native path from woodlanders- not grown any since ’02 planting and one across from it a gift from Evon That is spectacular both ’03 & ‘04
· Agarista populifolia ( Florida Leocathoe) Planted Sp.’04 behind squirrel bench & across path from it near tree line
· Amorpha fruticosa (Lead plant) planted winter ’04 behind Ninebark diabl0
· Amorpha ouachitensis (Ouachita lead plant) planted Sp ’03 right of Alchymist Rose gift from Pine Ridge Gardens.
· Azalea ‘Janet Rhea’ Planted TOH left of beauty bush in Sp.’04

· Berberis ‘Concorde’ Small ruby-purple leaf shrub behind angel in mailbox bed.
· Berberis thunbergii ‘Gold Ring’ 5x5 slow growing burgandy leaves develop a gold ring edge in mid summer. Yellows flowers in May.From Forrest Farm planted 3/05 right of Abraham Darby Rose
· Buddleia ‘Honeycomb’: Yellow butterfly bush planted Sp’03 in butterfly garden

· Buddleia x weyeriana ‘Bicolor’: Planted behind New Dawn Rose Sp.’03, from Plant Delights.

· Caesalpinia gilliesii ( Bird of Paradise shrub) Planted on right side of meditation path in Phoenix bed- this is the one with leaves like mimosa red & yellow blooms.
· Callicarpa americana (Beauty Berry) native found all over property, esp behind Squirrel bench and TOH
· Callicarpa americana ‘Bok Tower’ Planted on driveway side of moon garden before Lady Banks rose Jan 22,’05 From Woodlanders an American white beautyberry.
· Calycanthus floridus ‘Athens’ Planted Jan 22,’05 TOH upper right side
· Calycanthus floridus (Carolina Alspice) planted in front yard in ’01
· Camillia japonica ‘Kramer’s Supreme’ : Midseason , full peony form, very large deep red flowers on compact, upright bush, can take some sun. From Panzicoa’s 2/17/05. Planted at end of Phoenix bed at the back.
· Caryopteris ‘Azure’: Planted at TOH left behind spireas Sp.’04
· Caryopteris incana ‘Jason’ 3x3 late summer blue blooms on golden foliage. Planted next to Clematis Lady Betty Balfour on arch 4/12/05, From Plant Delights.
· Caryopteris ‘Snow Fairy’: One ’03 & one ’04 in Lake bed, have white edged leaves
· Cephalanthus occidentalis: (Button Bush) Planted in La. Iris bed ’01 from woodlanders – but no growth or bloom yet. Had one in old garden in clay that was 8x8’ full of yearly bloom. Have started feeding with “rabbit” food, hope it does better- I have seen a wild one growing out this neck of the woods.
· Chamaecyparis obtusa ‘Spirited’ (Golden Hanoki Cypress) 4’ lace like golden foliage.-sun , potted by itself in small pot 4/24/05 From Plant Delights
· Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘Nana’ 20x40”in 10yrs. Has white tips, Planted in own small pot from Mom 4/24/05, from Plant Delights.
· Choisya ternata ‘Sundance’ slowly to 5’, needs sun , fertile acid draining soil, cut back immeditiatly after bloom for new flush of golden foliage. Blooms early spring.White & fragrant –mock orange, planted 5/6/05 right of round “cement pond” in front garden. From Heronswood
· Cistus corbariensis: From Woodlanders Jan’05, planted near ditch behind mailbox
· Clethra alnifolia ‘Pink Spires’ Planted Sp’02 at end of native path on left in front of Magnolias.
· Clethra alnifolia ‘Hummingbird’ From Woodlanders Jan 21,’05 Planted next to ditch behind mailbox
· Clethra alnifolia ‘Sixteen Candles’: From Woodlanders Jan,21,’05, planted near ditch behind mailbox

· Daphne odora ‘Carol Mackie’ planted Sp’03 on front of Fairy Stump on meditation path. Bloomed in January
· Deutzia crenata’ White Splashed’ planted Sp.’04 behind Confederate Rose –but may need to move due to size
· Deutzia gracilis ‘Chadonnay Pearls’ 3x3’bright lime yellow foliage with fragrant white mid-spring bloom. Planted 5/5/05 past Betty Boop rose . From Heronswood
· Deutzia gracilis ‘Nikko’ low growing spreader planted left of yellow weigelia in Sp.’04, blooming 4/3/05

· Erythrina x bidwillii (Coral bean tree) Listed as a perennial- but looks like a large shrub to me so I’m placing it here. Planted Sp.’04 in Phoenix bed.

· Halesia tetraptera ‘Wedding Bells’: planted right of last large tree on left side of native path 4/24/05. From Pine Ridge
· Hamelia Patens : This may or may not be hardy-Planted Sp’04 at back part of Phoenix bed at end of path.
· Heterupterys glabra a 4x6 shrub I like to call red wings because it has red winged looking seed capsules at same time as yellow bloom in late summer. Planted in Phoenix bed Sp.’04
· Hibiscus mutabilis (Confederate Rose) Planted at left part of Moon bed in ’02
· Hibiscus ‘White Chiffon’ 8-10’,Pure white flowers with lacy look semi double blooms. Planted in Patriotic bed to back left 4/1/05, from Forrest Farm
· Hydrangea ‘All Summer Beauty’ Planted right of squirrel bench on native path in ‘03
· Hydrangea ‘Annabelle’ planted Sp.’01 in a row behind Encore Azalea at left corner of house
· Hydrangea ‘Blue Wave’
· Hydrangea ‘Dooley’ Planted Sp.’04 in place of mystery “thug” from Evon (Which still comes back !)
· Hydrangea ‘Lanarth’sWhite’ Planted in Kitchen patio garden and I think also on a path –My favorite hydrangea. A white lacecap with blue in it.
· Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Harlequin’ lime this one to keep pink with white edged on flowers- adorable-planted right of pass a long hibiscus TOH 5/16/05, from Heronswood
· Hydrangea Mariesii (Lace Cap)
· Hydrangea ‘Nigra’ 5x5’ plant has purple black stems, and pink or blue mophead flowers in Early summer. Planted 6/7/05 right front part of Gothic garden

· Hydrangea paniculata ‘Pink Diamond’ Planted behind “love Doves” bird bath at beginning of native path
· Hydrangea’ ‘Pia’ is planted in front of ‘Dooley’ It is a small pink variety edging in curve
· Hydrangea quadrifolia ‘Alice?’ From Toni & Sam planted ’03 towards end of Native path on right.
· Hydrangea quadrifolia ‘Little Honey’ ( a miniature oak leaf hydrangea) Has golden leaves, planted Sp.’04 back of right side of meditation path.
· Hydrangea serrata ‘Miyama-yae-Murasaki’ means deep mountain-many layers-purple : 4&1/2’ lacecap with “rose”look to it. Looks pink to me planted 6/6/05 right of entrance to squirrel bench area –fragrant garden
· Hydrangea ‘Tokyo Delight’ Planted In Kitchen patio garden- north wall.
· Hypercum reductum (Atlantic St Johns Wort) 2x3 , Planted Sp’04 under trees behind mailbox

· Illicium Floridanum ‘Pink Flowered’ from woodlanders Jan 21’05 planted 2nd Illicium from right end behind “gothic” garden, left of Illicium Parviflorum, right of Illicium alba. Suppose to get to be 6-10’x6’, Evergreen, late spring bloom-2”, slow growth
· Illicium floradanum var. alba From Woodlanders Jan, 21,’05; White late spring 2” flowers. Slow growth to 6-10x6’, Evergreen, Planted behind “gothic Garden 3rd from right , left of I.f.’Pink flowered’ right of Illicium Mexicanum
· Illicium Mexicanum From Woodlanders ,Jan21,’05. Planted left of I.f.var.alba. 4th from right end behind “Gothic” garden. 6-8’ Red late spring bloom , Evergreen, Plant in rich well drained soil.
· Illicium Parviflorum (2)From Woodlanders Jan 21,’05 1st Illicium on right end behind “Gothic’ garden, Evergreen, Pale yellow late spring bloom ,15-20x15’ Also found another one I’d planted , I think in ’03 or 04 , not sure , Still very small. Behind “rabbit” bench to the left.
· Itea Virginica ‘Henry’s Garnet’ Planted 5 down front 1st year then moved to back La. Iris bed Sp’04 & 1 near front ditch behind mailbox area.
· Itea Virginica ‘Little Henry’ (3)planted at end of La. Iris beds near bench end.
· Itea Virginica ‘Sarah Eve’ (2) From Woodlanders Jan’05 planted behind ‘Henry’s Garnet’ next to front ditch behind mailbox.

· Kerria japonica ‘Alba’ From Woodlanders Jan.21st ,05. Single white flowers in Spring, green stems. Planted behind “Rabbit” bench in front of wood pile left of a Illicium Parviflorum I didn’t know I planted.

· Lagerstroemia indica ‘New Orleans’ (purple dwarf crepe myrtle) from Woodlanders planted Oct’04 on front hillside
· Leycesteria formosa 6-8’x4’ understory shrub, likes fertile moist soil has green bamboo like stems that need pruning back when loose green color: The flowers are long racemes of reddish purple with white flowers at the tip. Mulch well for winter planted 4/24/05 on left side Native path up near large tree past Bay Tree, From Joy Creek
· Lindera benzoin: Planted 1st right at entrance to native path 4/24/05 , From Pine Ridge
· Lonicera fragratissima (Honeysuckle Shrub) 8-10’, sun or shade blooms in winter ,fragrant. Moved & planted at back of Patriotic bed in Fall’03

· Michelia figo (Banana Shrub) 15’ Evergreen planted right of carport parking area in’02.Creamy flowers in late spring smell like banana.
· Michelia figo ‘Port Wine” This selection of Banana Shrub from woodlanders’02 has creamy yellow blooms with maroon edges. Planted TOH.

· Osmanthus heterophyllus ‘Goshiki” ( Holly Osmanthus ) Yellow & pink variegated holly like leaves – little bloom. Southern Living says get’s to be 3.5’x5’wide , catalogs listed as taller- I’ll let you know. Planted Winter ’04 towards left end of meditation path in Phoenix bed.

· Philadelphus ‘Innocence’ The first shrub planted on right side of Meditation Path in’Sp.’04 Has white variegated leaves.
· Photinia davidiana ‘Palette’ Medium size, EV cream, pink, green & red variegation , white flower clusters in spring pink berries in Fall.Planted in pot in corner of back patio 4/8/05 from Forest Farm

· Physocarpus ‘Summer Wine’ planted in front of Madame Joseph Swartz.5/16/05 from Pine Ridge
· Polygum cusipidatum ‘Crimson Beauty’ Planted Sp.’04 in Phoenix bed from Plants Delight. Great growth & bloom in late summer-fall. This one has a native passion vine growing in it as well.
· Prunus glandulosa (Drawf Pink Almond) Planted Sp.’02 Entrance garden left of Little Bunny statues. 3/9/05 blooming
